JJ Project - Tomorrow, Today

JJ Project is back, y'all! Before making their debut with GOT7 in 2014, JB and Jinyoung formed the pop duo - JJ Project - in 2012. They released a single, "Bounce" and starred in Dream High 2. After joining GOT7, we thought that might be the end of JJ Project until JYP Entertainment announced a comeback.

After five years of waiting, we're not disappointed. Earlier this week, JJ Project came back with Verse 2, featuring the title track "Tomorrow, Today." The song and music video are nothing less than gorgeous. JB's and Jinyoung's vocals harmonize perfectly. The whole focus of this song is on the beautiful vocals as JB and Jinyoung sing of being afraid of the unknown future. We hope there is more JJ Project in the future!

KNK - Rain

KNK came back quickly, with the repackage album - GRAVITY, Completed. This album features three new songs, including the title track "Rain."

KNK fans might remember that in 2016, KNK didn't release a music video for their second EP, REMAIN. So we were thrilled to get another music video just two months after "Sun.Moon.Star." And KNK has never looked, or sounded, better.

KNK is called a visual group for good reason. The simple video features lots of rain-soaked dancing. It's not flashy but the song isn't either. Seungjun is mastering the art of rap/singing. The vocal line was hitting all the right notes with us. Overall, this is another solid song from KNK that we'll listen to any day - rain or not.

GroovyRoom - Somewhere (Feat. Suran, pH-1)

Though Groovyroom's name is still pretty new, you've most likely already listened to some of their tracks as they've been working for the past two years with artists such as Dok2, Heize, ONE, and more. The producer-duo recently made news when they signed with Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone's new hip-hop label H1GHER and released their first EP titled 'Everywhere'. The entire record is really good, with 6 new tracks each featuring artists like Jay Park, Sik-K, Dok2, Giriboy, and Masta Wu. Our favorite track though, is "Somewhere" featuring Suran and pH-1. The collab is perfect with Suran's amazing vocals and pH-1's verses highlighted by a refreshing instrumental chorus.

Samuel - Sixteen (Feat. Changmo)

Samuel may only be 15, but he's already making a name for himself in K-pop. In 2015, Samuel hit the scene as a member of hip hop duo, 1PUNCH (alongside One). In 2016, Samuel collaborated with the American rapper Silentó. They won for Global Collaboration at the Seoul Music Awards.

Earlier this year, Samuel took part in the second season of Produce 101. He didn't make the cut for the final group, but we're not worried about his future in the industry.

Earlier this week, he made his solo debut with the EP, Sixteen. The music video for the album's title track, "Sixteen" features Samuel dancing around various locations in Seoul with friends. This upbeat track, with Samuel's sweet vocals is one of the feel-good songs of the summer.
