BTS - Come Back Home

You might not know the name Seo Taiji, but he's a legend in the Korean music industry. He was originally part of the group Seo Taiji & Boys. They were only active from 1992 to 1996, but they were hugely popular and influenced major changes in K-pop. To celebrate Seo Taiji's 25th anniversary, several artists are remaking some of his hit songs.

BTS was the first artist to release theirs... a remake of "Come Back Home." BTS took this opportunity to get back to their hip hops roots. From the first beat, you feel like you're right back to BTS' debut single, "No More Dream." It has BTS' flair, but there's no mistaking this is still the 1995 masterpiece from Seo Taiji & Boys.

Check out the original version of "Come Back Home."

Hyuk (VIXX) - Photograph

On Wednesday, VIXX's youngest member, Hyuk, turned 23. And he celebrated by sharing a new cover song with fans - Ed Sheeran's "Photograph." The music video shares photos and snippets of Hyuk's childhood all the way through his trainee days. Hyuk's soft vocal really do justice to the sweetness of the song and mv.

This isn't Hyuk's first cover... last year, he covered Justin Beiber's "Love Yourself." The year before, he covered Jeff Bernat's "Call You Mine." Happy Birthday, Hyuk!

Bang Yongguk - Yamazaki (NSFW)

This is the first R-rated music video to make our list. Earlier this week, Bang Yongguk (leader of the group B.A.P) dropped his solo effort, "Yamazaki." The heavy bass and the oriental strings pair well with Bang Yongguk's powerful and aggressive rap. The mv nabbed an R-rating thanks to the blood and gore. (Seriously, if you're squeamish, just go listen to the song instead.)

Lee Hyori - Black

Hyori is back with a whole new sound that veers far off from mainstream K-pop. The new track, Black, features western-folk sounds expertly mixed with dubstep. The cinematic MV, along with Hyori's building vocals, creates an entrancing listening experience.

VAV - ABC (In the Middle of the Night)

It took them some time to figure out their sound, but VAV's recent string of singles sounds like they're finally hitting their sweet spot in classic 80s pop. "ABC (In the Middle of the Night)" is an upbeat, playful song perfect for summer nights, and we're looking forward to seeing how VAV develops their music direction from here.
